The next International Conference on Economic Modeling and Data Science (EcoMod2027) will held in Rabat-Salé at at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University on June 30 - July2, 2027. Colleagues who are unable to travel to Stuttgart will be able to present their papers virtually.

The goal of the conference is to promote the exchange of ideas and experience among economists conducting quantitative analysis for policy and decision making in the public and private sectors. The conference will cover all areas of modeling and data science, applied to monetary, financial, fiscal, energy, environmental, labor, trade and developmental issues.

Paper Submissions

We invite submissions of abstracts on the conference topics listed above, as well as other areas of economic modeling and data science.

EcoMod2027 Registration

Registration opens March 2027.

Registration includes:

• Conference materials
• Morning and afternoon refreshment breaks

• Gala dinner* on Friday - July 2, 2027

*Separate reservation required for the gala dinner.

Payment:

Payment is due at the time of registration. Payment by credit card or bank transfer. All bank and transfer fees are the responsibility of the attendee or their institution. When paying by bank transfer, an invoice will be sent with necessary bank details.

Please Note:  Travel Requirements

It is recommended to check the latest visa entry requirements with the Morocco embassy or consulate before your trip. If you require supporting documents such as a letter of invitation, please indicate this during registration and you will need to complete a Letter of Invitation form. Once your registration is complete, you will provide the letter through our colleagues in Morocco.

Registration Cancellation Policy

All registration cancellations must be received via email to Patricia MacNeil (pat.macneil@ecomod.net) by the dates below:

• Before May 2, 2027: Full refund minus US$25 administrative fee
• May 3– June 3, 2027: 50% refund
• After June 4, 2027: No refund
• No-shows are subject to the full registration fee

Refunds will be issued within 30 business days after the conference concludes.
